Unlock Italy Decree: construction work at one’s home no longer need to be authorised by the Municipality.

The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Maurizio Lupi, has summarised one of the building simplification regulations contained in the Unlock Italy decree: “renovation work at one’s home no longer need to be authorised by the Municipality; the resident will only need to send a notice, after which they may start the works.” An important regulations for families, which will apply to works that do not change the volumes of the building. “The citizen – Maurizio Lupi explains – becomes the master of their home and may freely carry out works (knock down partitions, create new rooms...) that do not change the volumes, all it takes is a simple notice to the Municipality.” According to the Decree, the variants to building permits that do not entail an essential change – provided they comply with the town planning-construction requirements and are implemented after acquiring any authorisations required by the regulations on landscape, hydro-geological and environmental constraints, protection of the historical, artistic and archaeological heritage and other sector regulations – can be implemented by means of a report of works started and notified at the end of the works with the firm’s certificate. The final text of the decree will establish the “liberalised” works with certainty. Pellegrini-Binaghi: 50 years of successes. Together

A professional life side by side at Sabiana. 50 years of challenges, every single one of them won. Luigi Binaghi, president and Giorgio Pellegrini, managing director, celebrated their long partnership at Villa Negri, in Cassinetta di Lugagnano, together with employees and associates. A lovely evening under the banner of reminiscences and future projects. Aperitif in the garden and dinner under the portico. Chats, memories, pictures of a company, Sabiana, which since its inception has been defined by its ability to work as a team. Respectful of every individual team member. The trips abroad with all employees, the matches, the Christmas parties. Pictures of a team spirit, the seeds of which were sown by the founders, and strongly fostered and consolidated by the second generation: Binaghi and Pellegrini, indeed. An opportunity for actual partying, where the pride for having contributed to the growth of a prestigious company combined with the joy of hanging out together. And the toast given by the two guests of honour: 'Long life to Sabiana' perfectly summed up the spirit of the evening. Extension of the bonuses for energy upgrading and building renovation works.

The 2016 stability law especially focuses on homeowners, by extending the 50% IRPEF tax relief for renovations and 65% for energy saving, which will allow them to benefit again next year from significant savings on construction and energy efficiency improvement work on buildings, as well as on purchases of furniture and large household appliances. Public housing management bodies will also be able to access tax relief through a 170 million Euro fund allocated for maintenance and will therefore be able to carry out renovations on the most obsolete buildings. AS is the case for this year, the eco bonus for 65% consists in an IRPEF or IRES tax relief, spread over ten annual instalments. The maximum permitted amount for the deduction is 100 thousand Euro. All taxpayers and businesses owners of the property undergoing energy upgrade can benefit from the tax credit. The actions include reducing energy use for winter heating and works for thermal improvement of the building. The relief for anti-seismic adaptation works, aimed at making existing buildings safe, is also confirmed. One may apply for the ecobonus both for upgrading works in individual flats and in the common parts of blocks of flats. The deduction cannot be combined with that for the renovation bonus. The 50% bonus is also confirmed for 2016, to the amount of 96 thousand Euro amortised over ten years. In this case the construction work is for renovation. The application for the relief may be submitted by the owners or holders of real rights on the property undergoing work, as well as tenants and free loan users. Another piece of good news is the confirmation of the furniture bonus: 50% tax deduction, up to a ceiling of 10 thousand Euro. The relief includes expenses incurred for furniture and large household appliances. Funding for school buildings: now is the time to switch to Pulsar by Sabiana

For 2014 and 2015, 122 million Euro a year should be excluded from the Stability Pact of Municipalities that will undertake operations for upgrading and improving safety of school buildings. The provision is included in the Draft LD on the Spending review approved by the Council of Ministers on Friday, April 18. A great opportunity, to finally have safe and welcoming schools. First and foremost, heating systems, which are often obsolete, energy-guzzling and unsafe in all respects. The solution put forth by Sabiana in this connection is Pulsar, a metal ceiling radiant panel with extremely low inertia that perfectly integrates into 60x60 cm false ceilings (but can also be installed exposed) and that solves all issues to do with safety (ceiling installation), hygiene (no dirt build up on surfaces, easily disinfected), maintenance (easy access and detection of any leaks). A solution with low implementation costs that allows the rooms to be heated with the utmost comfort yet with extremely low thermal inertia, for quickly bringing the premises to the set temperature. Pulsar may be paired with traditional high temperature thermal power plants, as well as with condensation boilers and heat pumps. Arbonia continues to strengthen HVAC sales position in Spain and Portugal

Arbon, 6 December 2022 – As part of its communicated HVAC growth strategy, Arbonia has signed an agreement to purchase 100 % of the shares in the Portuguese HVAC distribution company Cirelius S.A. For the HVAC Division, this acquisition means a significant strengthening of its activities in the Portuguese and Spanish markets, making it a leading supplier of HVAC system solutions on the Iberian Peninsular. To expand geographically in the two southern European markets of Spain and Portugal, Arbonia has previously acquired two distribution partners for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment, Tecna and Cicsa, in 2018 and 2021 respectively. The acquisition of Cirelius will significantly strengthen the HVAC Division's sales position in these markets, giving it a leading market position in the Iberian Peninsula. In these two markets, the division consistently pursues its growth strategy as an innovative provider of sustainable heating systems, ranging from modern heat generation and optimal heat transfer to energy storage for all types of buildings and applications, for both the new construction and renovation markets.Cirelius, based in Porto (PT), specialises in particular in the sale and distribution of HVAC system solutions for residential construction throughout Portugal and distributes, among other things, heat pumps and photovoltaic systems. Thus, the company is complementary to Tecna on the product and customer side as well as in terms of geographical orientation. Synergies will therefore arise in particular on the sales side through the strengthened and broader market access.Arbonia is taking over all of Cirelius' activities, including the approximately 60 employees, in order to ensure long-standing customer relationships with existing contacts and ongoing projects can continue smoothly. In the financial year 2021, Cirelius generated revenue of approximately EUR 20 million, with an attractive EBITDA margin that is significantly above the Division's margin level. The EV/EBITDA multiple underlying the transaction is approximately 6x, based on the EBITDA for 2021 and the forecast EBITDA for 2022 before synergies. The signing and closing of the contract took place on 5 December 2022.The acquisition will be financed from available funds and will have a positive impact on Arbonia's earnings per share already in the 2023 financial year before possible synergies. This press release and more information about Arbonia can be found online at www.arbonia.com.Arbonia is a focused building components supplier with two divisions that are active in the areas of indoor climate (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning technology) and interior doors made of wood and glass. The company, which is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, is active worldwide with its own distribution companies as well as with representatives and partners in more than 70 countries. Its main production sites are located in Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Russia, Italy, and Belgium. A total of around 6500 employees work for the Arbonia Group.

Upcoming extension until 2016 of energy upgrading bonuses.

The option of extending until December 2016 of the two tax reliefs, expiring on 31 December 2015, is becoming more and more likely. The Ministers for Economy, Pier Carlo Padoan, and Infrastructure and Transport, Graziano Delrio, agree on extending by one more year the 65% Ecobonus for energy upgrading of buildings and the 50% bonus on renovations. In all likelihood, the two reliefs will be extended at the same conditions currently in force. In any case, the new rules will be defined in the 2016 Stability law, in the first draft stage at the Ministries. MCE 2014 - Sabiana’s new products at the front line

Sabiana app. Always standing by people, Sabiana could not forego the development of an invaluable work tool for all its employees and associates: its App. This is the first innovation to be presented at the trade fair. Developed for Apple and Android, the Sabiana App has been developed to become the inseparable companion for professionals in the industry. Versatile, comprehensive, cheerful: come and test it at the Fair and it will win you over. New wall controls. Innovative design and energy saving button: Sabiana has redesigned wall controls so that convenience goes hand in hand with aesthetics. Atlas with electronic motor. Energy saving and variable air flow from 0 to 100%, here are the main features of the newborn in the large Air Heater family. Its name is Atlas ECM and it features an electronic motor controlled by a built-in inverter. As well as decrease electric consumption compared to traditional asynchronous motors, electronic motors make it possible to continuously vary the air flow rate and control the room temperature with higher precision, with added benefits on average sound levels. Atlas ECM, produced in 6 sizes, already complies with the 2015 limits set forth by the new European regulations (EU) no. 327/2011 that sets especially low electrical consumption in relation to the air flow performance provided. The regulation has been in force since January 2013. Water flow regulation valves. Sabiana introduces an interesting application on its fan coils, regarding a 2-way valve with control actuator and automatic water flow regulation, independent from the system’s upstream pressure. Featuring a compact size and simple manual setting of the desired flow rate (30 – 1300 l/hr), it represents a step forward towards simplification of climate control. Flush installation kit for fan coils. We called it Moma, because exactly like the famous New York museum, it seeks to show off the beauty of modernity. This kit makes it possible to install fan coils flush with the wall, doing away with any encumbrance, including visual ones. As a matter of fact, Moma’s side may be painted in the same colour as the wall. This is a good talking point for putting forth fan coils as the ideal solution for residential premises as well. Airknives. They are still called Meltemi but are all-Italian now. Sabiana presents the new airknives wholly manufactured in its premises. 3 applications (light commercial, commercial, industrial), 3 versions (ventilation only, water, electrical), 3 sizes (1000-1500-2000 mm) to offer the utmost versatility, with a comprehensive series of set-up and control systems.
